HELP

Start Manager has many powerful features. Below are some general
guidelines.

Pressing ESC will end most functions.
Press the RED character in the above boxes to use a function.
Your text files are saved when you Press Esc.
A button above shows up when you are in the EDIT mode.

Most of this programs functions use the same editor. Below
is a description of how to use the editor.

    INS       - Toggles Insert mode off and on.
   ^I CNTRL I - Scrolls Down.
   ^D CNTRL D - Scrolls Up.
   ^Y CNTRL Y - Deletes a line.

All Daily Planners are Created from the Calendar. If you Press D
for the Daily Planner and nothing happens, this tells you that
no Daily Planner exists for that Date.


      Always backup your data files. Be safe or be sorry.

VITAL STATISTICS notes can be created for any purpose.

Select one of the 15 VITAL STATISTICS items and then Press Enter.
Press U to update or add a note.

Use MOVE to move an item up or down on the list.

 [PgUp]     = - month            [Home]        = - year

 [PgDn]     = + month            [End]         = + year

 Left ARROW  = - day                Right ARROW = + day

 Up   ARROW  = - day                Down  ARROW = + day

 [ALT][A]  = ADD DAILY PLANNER        [A] = ADD NOTE

 [ALT][D]  = DELETE DAILY PLANNER     [D] = DELETE NOTE

 [U] = UPDATE A NOTE.

 [SPACE BAR] = SHOWS A DAILY PLANNER IF ONE EXISTS FOR THIS DATE.

 [ENTER] = SHOWS A NOTE IF ONE EXISTS FOR THAT DATE.

 PGDN = NEXT RECORD               HOME = FIRST RECORD

 PGUP = PREVIOUS RECORD           END = LAST RECORD

 ADD    - Press A to add a new record to your phone database.

 UPDATE - Press U to change phone information.

 LIST   - Lists names and phone numbers in database. Select a
          record with the bar and press enter to goto that record.

 FIND   - Finds the Name or Names you select.

 DELETE - Deletes Records. Deleted records are re-used by the
          ADD function if applicable.

 PRINT  - Prints Record contents for All or the Current Record.

 DIAL   - Move the bar to the Phone Number and Press Enter.
          You must have a modem and it must be configured properly.

 Leave yourself a note. When you run Start Manager
 the program checks to see if there is a note, if
 a note exists, it displays it.

 Use the DELETE option to remove unwanted notes. This assures
 that unwanted notes will not get displayed on start up.

 This text database is useful for keeping a journal of daily
 events.


 PGUP   - Previous record.

 PGDN   - Next record.

 HOME   - First record.

 END    - Last record.

 ADD    - Add a new note to the journal database.

 UPDATE - Change the contents of a record.

 DELETE - Erase the contents of a record.

 FIND   - Finds the selected text in the journal. Once
          you find the record you want, press the N key
          to leave you at that record. Watch the text
          at the bottom of the screen.

 TODO lists can be created to simplify your affairs.

 Select one of the 15 TODO items and then Press Enter.
 Press U to update or add a note.

 Use MOVE to move an item up or down on the list.

 Reminders can be created that are displayed on the days you
 select.

 Select one of the 15 reminders and Press Enter
 Press U to update or add a reminder.

 Enter the Month, Day, Description.
 Add a note if you like.
 Use MOVE to move an item up or down on the list.

 Note : All single digits must be proceeded by a 0.

 All Daily Planners are Created from the Calendar.

 Select a DATE for a Planner from the Calendar and then Press
 ALT A to ADD a planner.

 Use the up or down arrow to select an appointment time, Press
 ENTER to add or update an appointment.

SETUP    - Allows you to setup various features of Business

           you to transfer files to your favorite word-
